Why Should I Join this LLC?

  • The ROOTS LLC (formally SEEED) is home of the founding academic unit on campus, the Agricultural College of West Virginia or what we now call the Davis College. This LLC is for Davis College majors who are interested in exploring more about the roots of our College, West Virginia University and Appalachian history and heritage.
  • Residents will connect with other students and meet faculty and staff of the Davis College.
  • Students will have the opportunity to participate in unique activities such as Goat Yoga, WV Bridge Day trips, dinners with faculty, tours of the WVU greenhouse, insect zoo and farm trips, and more.
  • We aim to help students develop a sense of place and pride for their new home away from home!

Location

Where Will I Live?

This community is part of Bennett Tower (floor 4) in the Evansdale Residential Complex (Towers). Students will be able to live in a single, double, or triple occupancy room. Other amenities include on-site dining services, high-speed internet, study rooms, and much more. Students will also have an opportunity to be involved in the larger residence hall community and will be able to participate in all events and activities that occur in the hall.
