Community for students majoring in Forensic and Investigative Science.
Why should I choose the Forensic and Investigative Science LLC?
Our LLC is for students who are interested in living with others who share a passion for a field of study where scientific knowledge and the search for justice meet.
We give our students a unique opportunity to begin building a community within this degree program that has rigorous STEM requirements their first 2 years and form friendships and study groups with others in many of the same classes.
Students will have the opportunity to participate in unique activities tailored to forensics! This includes things like visiting the FBI CJIS facility in Clarksburg, WV to hear presentations from practitioners in the field, participating in mock crime scenes at our crime scene complex, and participate in hands-on workshops in our labs (e.g. fingerprinting).
Where will I live?
This community is located in Summit Hall (10th floor). Students can live in a single or double
suite-style occupancy room with suite-style bathrooms. Summit Hall is conveniently
located just two blocks from the Life Sciences Building and PRT and within easy
walking distance to downtown.
How can I join?
This community is open to first-year, direct-admitted students majoring in Forensic and Investigative Science. For more information about the Forensics LLC, contact Lisa Licata.
