WVU's Information Technology Services (ITS) provides support for a wide array of systems and services. Depending on where you live, however, your residence hall or apartment may have a private internet provider.
This article has information about Morgantown residence halls and apartments, including how to connect your devices: https://wvu.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/34/article/1133740059
Here are some other things to keep in mind:
Select the secure WVU.Encrypted wireless network and enter your WVU Login username and password to connect your mobile devices and computer to the internet in other WVU buildings and facilities. WVU.Encrypted is available across all campuses and keeps you connected via your Login credentials as you move between locations.
In residence halls on the Beckley and Keyser campuses only, you’ll use the WVU.Play network for gaming consoles and smart devices such as TVs, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, Apple TV and Roku. All devices must be registered by MAC address at mydevices.wvu.edu before connecting.
For more information on software, wireless printing, two-factor authentication and more, visit the ITS student technology resources page, contact the Service Desk at 304-293-4444 or visit it.wvu.edu/help.
