Summer Housing

Welcome to summer term at West Virginia University!

Availability and Eligibility

You may live in Oakland Hall for all or part of the summer, the choice is yours. It's a convenient option, as billing is managed through the Office of Student Accounts and you may choose a WVU dining plan, too.

WVU Residence Hall housing is available only for students enrolled in WVU classes/seminars and University-related internships for credit. Proof of student status or other University affiliation is required. You may reside in Oakland Hall, the designated Summer Housing Residence Hall while your classes are in session. If you are not registered for a class, or your class/seminar/internship has ended, you must vacate your space.

Summer school housing spaces are limited. You may apply for housing online; confirmation of your reservation will be sent to your MIX account, which will serve as your housing contract. Your specific room assignment will be provided when you check in at Oakland Hall. The last day to cancel the housing contract is the day BEFORE your summer classes are scheduled to begin.

Complete this simple form to reserve your space and we'll look forward to seeing you this summer.

Questions? Call the Housing Assignments Office at 304-293-2811 or email Housing Assignments Office.
