Frequently Asked Questions Break Housing

Q. How much does it cost to stay for break housing?
A. $25 per day. Fees will be charged to student's account.
Q. What if I don’t stay for the whole break?
A. You will only be charged for the days you stay during the break period.
 
Q. Can I have guests stay with me during break?
A. No, guests and visitors are not allowed during break housing periods. 
Q. Will dining be available during break housing?
A. WVU Dining locations will be closed during spring break. But participants can use their Mountie Bounty at many local locations. Mountie Bounty Participating Locations
 
Q. Will the residence hall fitness centers be available during spring break?
A. No, they will not be available. 
 
Q. If I move to Brooke Tower for break housing will linens be provided?
A. No, you will need to bring your own linens and towels.
 
Q. If I move to Brooke Tower for break housing will I have access to my permanent room?
A. No, you will not be able to access your permanent room during the break periods.
 
Q. When can I register for spring break housing?
A. Spring break housing information and registration will be available in early February. 
Q. What is the deadline for registering for spring break housing?
A.  The deadline to register for spring break housing is Monday, February 25. Registration may be made online.
