Fieldcrest Hall
Fieldcrest Hall is within easy walking distance of the Evansdale Residential Complex (ERC) and the Personal Rapid Transit System (PRT). It is located next to the Health Sciences Center and Milan Puskar Stadium, home of Mountaineer Field. A free shuttle service transports students to the ERC for meals. Limited parking is available.
Fieldcrest has suite-style rooms with semiprivate baths (two students on each side of a bathroom). The beds are extra-long twin (36” x 80” sheets).
Fieldcrest Hall houses Mountaineer Residential College whose theme is "The Mountaineer Experience: WVU, West Virginia, and the World." This residential college offers special programs and activities which bring additional faculty members into the residence halls, promote individual attention with students, and focus on the WVU experience as well as on social, cultural, and political issues in West Virginia and the world. To apply for a residential college you are asked to complete a supplemental application. For more information and the supplemental application, please visit the Residential College web site. Priority deadline to apply is January 15. Supplemental applications will be accepted after this date, however, space is limited.
Fieldcrest Hall houses students from many majors and interest areas. However, if you are a member of 4H, are a friend of 4H, or are interested in 4H, you are encouraged to select Fieldcrest Hall as a preferred residence hall when completing your housing application.
