2008-2009 Housing Scholarships

The Department of Housing and University Apartments awards several scholarships to first-year students living on campus. To be considered, you must be a prospective first-time freshman who has been admitted to WVU, and you must have paid your housing deposit by March 31, 2008. To apply, use the link below to print a copy of the applications. Applications must be submitted by March 31, 2008. Only applications sent with all required material will be considered. All application packets must include:

• Completed application
• Essay Response
• Official high school transcript in a sealed envelope
• List of cocurricular activities you have participated in during high school (clubs, teams, work, etc)
• List of three refrences (excluding relatives) including the name, address and phone number.

Multicultural Scholarships
Multicultural scholarships were established to encourage diversity in residential living. Recipients are chosen based on leadership potential, community service, and financial need. Students from historically under represented ethnic backgrounds are encouraged to apply for this scholarship. The award is for one-half of room and board for one year.
