Request A Roommate

If you and a friend(s) want to room together, you must enter their name(s) on the housing application/contract in the space provided. We recommend sending the application/contracts and the deposit money together in the same envelope. If this is not possible, don't hold your application/contract too long waiting for your roommate.

As long as your roommate's application/contract arrives within 30 days of yours, we will do our best to room you together. This is based on double space being available. In all cases, all requests must be received within 30 days of each other and before the February 1st deadline for the fall term. Once again, it's best to apply early! If you have already mailed your application/contract and then find someone you want to room with, you must notify us in writing with your roommate's name. We will add it to your application and do our best to accommodate your request.

Requests submitted after the original application/contract are more difficult to fulfill and cannot always be honored. If you change your mind about a roommate you have listed, again let us know in writing. Please note that if you have already been assigned to a room when you request a roommate or roommate change, you may be reassigned to a new room/hall in order to accommodate your request. Due to space limitations, roommate requests for the spring term cannot be guaranteed.
